I have an interest in teaching, I have family who are teachers so I feel it comes naturally. It is important to explain things in the best way so that it can be learnt, through for example interesting teaching techniques, and clear explanations and examples. I have volunteered in a youth club. I am a student representative so I am used to dealing with course issues and communicating with all sorts of people in order to improve aspects of it.

Hobbies
As I am doing a course that is based on the media and people, I am definitely a people's person. The course I study involves such a wide variety of information, it is important to know many different social sciences but also important to carry with me the information I learnt from school. I am an all rounder and I am very thorough, therefore if I were to give information I would definately make sure it was accurate and offers more than the bare minimum. I feel it is important to put the information you learn into a context, for example: "Why do I need to know this", by showing what it does in the wider picture, students are able to engage fuller and on a deeper level. I enjoy travelling and meeting people and always ready for new tasks and information! I feel I am very laid back and approachable, the studying can be formal or informal, but always focused whilst fun! At the university I go to, academic work is very important and I have learnt to write in a high quality way. I think I would improve the client's learning through teaching them information as well as correct presentation, structure skills and research techniques, both on-line and in libraries.
