Hello! Salut! I've worked as a Study Support Worker since 2009, which involves working in after school 'Homework Clubs' in libraries throughout the city. This involves helping children of primary and secondary school age with their homework. I have some private tutor experience helping with writing and study skills. As well as this, I've worked as a teacher teaching English both in the UK and abroad. For this, I have a TESOL qualification which I gained with Merit. I also worked as a Language Assistant in France for 7 months, being appointed by the British Council. This involved teaching English in three primary schools in Provence in the south of France. I am a bit of a Francophile! My main professional experience has been in academic publishing, so I have great attention to detail! I enjoy tutoring as I enjoy helping others to learn and understand new things. I will always go out of my way to ensure learning is tailored to the individual's needs. Having an MA in Social and Political Thought and a BA (Hons) in French, I am especially keen to help any students needing help with GCSE or AS/A Level French or Philosophy.
