Experience
Volunteered as a mentor to GCSE students from a local school whilst doing my AS Levels. Passed my 11+ to get in to grammar school, as well as some other more bespoke tests to get in to a couple of private schools. I want to be a tutor because you get the opportunity to really help someone. Helping someone to learn something, and seeing someone that you're teaching grasp a concept, is a wonderful thing. Moreover, the hours are flexible and I should be able to teach something I really enjoy. I've worked with children before; this summer I was working with post GCSE children on a personal development programme.
